Transracial adoptive parents are often looking for great books, dolls, toys, music and art to add to their families' collections.

My best friend gave me a book (my favorite kind of present!) that I want to share with you all. It is called "I Am America" and it was written by Charles R. Smith Jr. I apologize in advance to any readers who aren't in the U.S.A. This is definitely a book written for Americans. :)

There are tons of great book titles out there for parents and children regarding transracial adoption, parenting and families. This list is certainly not all-encompassing, but it has a great selection of books. In future posts I will make lists of website and magazine resources too.
