Dreams are great. What I like about them is that they give you a little insight into your own thoughts. I love that I, my husband, and my mom have all dreamed about our children. I have had a dream about traveling to get our children and I posted about it here. My husband dreamed that our children were home here. My mom just recently told me that she dreamed we were referred twin baby girls. We just received our referral today for one boy and one girl, so she figures she's half right. I'll let her think that.

Now that we have pictures, I'm sure I'll be dreaming a lot more.

Dreams in your title caught my attention. I LOVE dreams and use to do alot of dream studing.
I suggest stating a dream journal. Sleep with a pen and paper near by and write down immediately what you recall from you dreams. Every detail, colors, sounds, smells whtever it is. This journal will be fun to look back on later.
I have had a few dreams written in my journal only to find out later that I was actually living it. I knowit sounds crazy, but twice this has happened to me. I was at a particular place and I thought, "man, I was here before!" And a week later for fun I was reading through my journal, and sure enough I had this place described perfectly.
My favorite book on dreams is Conscious Dreaming by Robert Moss. AWESOME book. I've probably read it 5 times and learn something each time.
I'm a strong believer that dreams can guide us in our everyday life.
I could go on forever, dreams just amaze me. I believe you are with Solomon, and Solomon is with you. Enjoy your dreams.
I dreamed about T twice before I travelled - in one I was carrying him as we walked down a path to the ocean. A little odd since I live about as far from the ocean as possible. The other one was like yours, we were just eating supper in our kitchen.

Now I'm too tired to dream. Heh. :)
In three weeks, I'll be traveling to meet our son in Haiti (not to bring him home yet, sadly). So the dreams of rushing to the airport and forgetting vital pieces of luggage & paperwork have already started! They're mostly frustrating and I wake up feeling like I've gotten little very little rest.

One year before we began our adoption, I had a very vivid dream about the son we would adopt. His name in my dream is the American name we've given him. I didn't know it at the time, but the meaning is quite significant & fitting considering his life before coming to the orphanage. :o)

Erin, That is beautiful! I really do believe that souls connect across the miles when those souls are longing to be together. Sounds like one of those situations. While I do not always recall my dreams either, I have experienced what you are speaking of myself before.
Nothing "silly" at all.
