(Important- please read this message all the way through).
This morning I am going to share some big news at the Henderson house with you all. We were planning on keeping it to ourselves a little longer but I decided that there is no time like the present. We have made these announcements enough times that you would think we would be used to it, but I always get so nervous/excited/anxious to “share our news”.

We decided that “Nine is Enough” just was not quite right for us, and soon we will be truly testing the theory of “Cheaper by the Dozen”. Yes, that is right…three more Hendersons. I know it sounds crazy (and admit it feels kind of crazy) but we heard about these three kids and just knew that they were meant to be ours. We’re skipping right past having 10 kids and 11 kids, and going right for the even dozen.

They are nine, six and three years old, one boy and two girls…which means we will be all evened up at six boys and six girls. With the three new additions we will have twelve kids at the current ages of 10, 9, 9, 8, 7, 6, 6, 5, 4, 4, 2 and 1.

Now I know what you are thinking…it is more than we can handle…we are never going to stop adopting children…I am going to be like the old woman who lived in a shoe…we have gone completely nuts.

But wait…think about it for just a minute. What day is today?? That’s right…Happy April Fool’s Day. (Did I get you??) No, there are no “three new Hendersons”. I thought it would be a funny April Fool’s Day “blogger prank” and I couldn’t resist. Sorry Mom and Auntie!!

Sure I am crazy…but I am not THAT crazy!
