Our story involves receiving news that the petition for adoption had been denied AFTER we returned home from Manila, our daughter's birth home. She was 4 years old before she was legally ours. And a note...the roller coaster doesn't end when the legal process is done (our daughter is now 23). More words to come when I get our blog up and running @ adoptionunplugged.com.

I agree that adoption is an emotional roller coaster. My friends are trying to adopt now. I'm there every day to comfort them.

The adoption process is grueling. They did their adoption forms online at MyAdoptionForms Web site. That went well. Everything else has been hell. Even though I'm not personally going through it, I understand the emotional trauma.
