Today my Nathan turns 10 years old. It is pretty hard to believe! Nathan is our first child and our oldest biological son. He is the second-oldest now in our family, so has one older sister and eight younger siblings. He is a wonderful kid that I love with all my heart, and am blessed to be his mom. Here are some fun things to know about Nathan.

Nathan…
-has never-ending energy
-ALWAYS looks on the bright side and is hardly ever in a bad mood
-is very tender-hearted
-is outrageously smart
-can find trouble just about anywhere
-was the world’s easiest baby
-doesn’t see the point in wasting time doing things neatly
-is always up for anything
-loves everyone around him unconditionally
-is easily pleased
-loves to read
-has a great sense of humor
-is a wonderful brother
-would have 100 more brothers and sisters if left up to him
-is a loyal friend
-is great at geography
-loves to laugh and make others laugh
-is a New York Yankees fan
-can eat A LOT
-can find dirt anywhere
-could run all day and not get tired
-is a lot like me
-is a terrible pack-rat (which is NOT like me) :)
-has lots of friends
-is loved by teachers
-is a challenging chess player
-has an amazing imagination
-sleeps like a rock
-but has been an early riser since the day he was born
-was born via-section on July 29, 1996
-was the first grand child on both sides of the family
-has my father’s knack for debating ANYTHING
-looks really good in a crew cut
-really likes to be outside
-loves monkeys
-is very sensitive
-can talk the leaves off of a tree
-is very much an optimist
-has great freckles!
-loves Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and super heroes.
-is a whole lot of fun
-taught me how very much I love being a mom
