Today’s Love Thursday picture is of my hubby and our kids.

I think I may have shared this picture before, but I just love it. "Pile on Dad" is a favorite game around here...as are quite a few other rough and tumble games. The girls enjoy them as much as the boys...the big kids enjoy them as much as the little kids.

Josh is an awesome Dad. He is always there when we need him, even on his longest and busiest days. He comes and goes during the day to drive kids where they need to be, he cooks on the weekends, and he is good for lots of fun things too... He is always ready and willing to pull a sled up the hill, or blow up a pile of floaties for the lake, or pump up all the bike tires and go for a ride, or wrestle around in the living room. He gives piggie back rides and countless hugs and kisses every day. He sings and dances (although sometimes the older kids wish he wouldn’t!).

I love his fun-loving nature and so do the kids. I love that he enjoys spending time with them, and vice verse. I love that he is always up for whatever it may be we are planning, whether it is ice skating, hiking or board games. I love that he can be so much fun and yet still be responsible and dependable and work hard to provide for his family. I love that he is a loving, involved, committed, invested, playful, and fun Dad that the kids can talk to. I love that he was as willing as I to expand our family through adoption. I love that he is such a good example to us and those around us.

I love that he loves kids…ours, and kids everywhere… and I really love that he loves me. :)
