Time for a Wednesday funny.

I often comment that, "Everyone is a comedian around here." It's true...all of my kids love to be funny, and are pretty dang good at it. And yet sometimes they say or do the funniest things when they are not even trying.

Let's take last weekend for an example...

I had pulled out my camera to take some pictures of the kids. I have a new personal blog that lets me upload lots and lots of pictures and I noticed that I didn't have very many new ones of my bigger kids (although I have oodles of the kids that I am home with all day...they are cute, they are close by and they like it!)

I had also just finished doing both of the older girls' hair in some new styles that came out really good (and took a lot of effort) so I wanted to get pictures of their hair too.

So I posed the girls a few different ways to get pics of their hair, and then took some fun pictures of them too. Then Ryan posed for a few (he is a total ham). The babies and little girls had to get in on the action even though the mission was to get pictures of the big kids...

Nathan was gone with Josh for the day, so that left Shane and Ben to "catch". I called them into the front room and told them to do something cute. They posed for a few pictures and acted goofy for a few and then I told them that was good.

As they were walking away I heard Shane say, "YES!!! We're getting another kid!!!"

Huh???

Say What???

So I called him back and asked him to explain...

He said, "Well, you are taking our pictures so the new kid can see us right?"

Ummmmmmm....wrong.

Apparently making the "welcome bag" photo albums for Benjamin and Belane last year made an impact on the kids, because now gathering them in the front room for pictures seems to mean that we are adding to our family!

Josh didn't think it was funny.

I did. :)
